Under Satanic Attack

When Non-Christians hear the term satanic attack, they probably think something out of a scary movie, where are person is physically attacked. Satan is often much more subtle, he can do a lot more damage that way. Satan has many devices he can use to attack people. He can use the entertainment industry to attack the home. He can can use the public schools to attack the kids. He can use the church to keep people from knowing God. Satan is a crafty foe and he must be carefully studied in order to stay protected. As protected as we can get anyway. One of Satan's favorite tricks is to attack the mind. This is what this article will focus on.

Our minds are constantly vulnerable to the world around us. We are bombarded by images, music, people, you name it. As a Christian it is our job to guard our minds from the world around us. This is easier said than done, especially if you work or go to school. Some times you can not help the things that you hear and see. This is the unfortunate consequence of living in modern society, Satan is every where. All the modern conveniences we have come at a heavy price. How many American's today are on some kind of prescription drug for mental illness. Weather it be anxiety, depression, or something more severe. Some studies show 1 in 6 Americans are on some sort psych. drug. I am not saying that all mental illness is caused by demons, but I know some are.

Another gateway for demons to get in is, drugs, alcohol (spirits), fornication, and music.

Drugs open up door ways in your mind for demons to get in. Once they are their, they are difficult to get rid of. These demons can help you or harm you. If you are a child of God these demons will harm you, God will make them. Demons can use unsaved people to influence others to commit sins. Alcohol is another way to let demons in. Once you break with normal consciousness demons can gain access to your mind and body. God can not stop them. The bible warns us to be sober.

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Titus 2:12- Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Ephesians 5:18 - And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

God does not want us to get drunk and high because it leaves us vulnerable to Satan's attacks. Not to mention these things are addictive and can destroy our lives. Sex can also make people vulnerable to Satanic attack. Music is another one that most people don't realize. Music goes to the pleasure centers of your brain. You have to be careful what you listen to. Most mainstream forms of music can open up gateways in your mind the same way drugs do. I am not sure exactly how any of this works, but I know the end results are horrifying. I do believe demons attack lost people, but I feel their main targets are Christians. Christians are the enemies of Satan and demons are out to get us. As Christians we need to pay very close attention to what we do, in order to protect ourselves.

How does someone know if they are under Satanic attack? Everything in your life will fall apart pretty much instantly. Their is a heavy oppressive presence in and around you. You will get the evil eye all the time from people. People will attack you. Nothing ever works out in your favor, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. You will become suicidal. These are just some of the signs. I don't think there is anything much worse than a satanic attack, all hope is lost and life becomes pointless. The only way out of this is through the help of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we diligently seek him for help he will deliver us. We must first go to Jesus in prayer asking him for help and guidance. Then we must cut off the things that are causing these attacks. This often takes time to get sorted out. We must read our bibles daily. Finally we must have patients, with God nothing is over night. Years of poor choices, may take years to undo. Keep the faith in the process and don't give up. There is light at the end of the tunnel, for those going through this. In time God will deliver you.

For anybody who is not saved and is interested in going to heaven, it is simple, just believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as payment for your sins. Jesus shed his blood so that all of us can have eternal life. No good works can ever get anyone to heaven.
