The Matrix

When I was a senior in high school a movie came out called the Matrix. Everyone was talking about it, mainly because it seemed like a good movie to see on drugs. I wound up watching it when it came out on video. It was about how the world we live in is just a simulation and everyone is actually asleep in a pod. While they sleep, intelligent machines, use there bodies as an energy source. So, what does this movie have to do with a Christian blog? Good question, this movie is a lot like real life. There is the conscious life we experience, then there is the spiritual world around us. We can not experience the spirit world, unless it is accessed by drugs, but more about that later. Also, there is the eternal realty of heaven and hell. All we are experiencing is this physical world. We can't experience those other realities while we are alive in these mortal bodies. People are going to think I am nuts for writing about this, but I feel like I need to get this out there. In this article we will explore The Matrix.

The world we are living in today is the matrix. It is not a simulated reality, it is actually real, but people are totally unaware of the other realities out there. The Matrix was created by the Devil to take people to hell. Lost people are more or less creating there own reality, with the aid of Satan. They are the creators, they are their own gods. It goes back to the garden of Eden, when the serpent told Eve, I can make you like God. Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Satan promised that we could be as God and he was right. In lost people lives, it is not a super computer creating their reality, it is their sinful flesh. The flesh graves pleasure and gratification. People are controlled by their flesh and fulfilling the desires of it. They are more or less, slaves to there sinful desires. It is not them who are in control, but their sinful flesh. Sin can disguise itself very easily. It can be very mundane things like hobbies, entertainment, gossiping, there are endless "harmless" things that lost people do that are sin. The real problem with these peoples lives is that they have replaced God. They fill their life with everything but God. They are blind to the reality of God. Saved people can fall into this same trap.

Saved people are just as capable of living in sin, as lost people. The only difference is they are not their own god. God is there god and he will not let them just do what they want. God will chasten his children. In doing so they will get a very cold dose of reality. Born again believers are not living in the matrix, because God can at anytime yank them out of the matrix and put them squarely in his reality. They will know that he is God. If God's people think they can live anyway they please, like the lost, they have a rude awakening coming. A Christian living for God can see the matrix around them. Things do not seem right. They see the wickedness and Satan's schemes going on around them. They see zombie people out in hordes with no clue what is going on. These hordes are pressing along to their own doom. Christians can see the end of the world on the horizon. They will go out to warn the lost of what is coming and how to avoid it, but they are often met with disinterest or distain.

There is another world going on around us that lost and saved can not see, and that is the spirit world. All around us are spirits. I believe they are mostly demonic spirits, but their is also the holy spirit and angels among us. These spirits are fighting a battle for the souls of men. Reigning over this spirit world is God and the Devil. God is reigning over the good and Satan reigns over the evil, but God has final authority over both. The spirit world teeters on human behavior. It is us humans that give power to either side, by our behavior. Both are waring for control of our minds. God wants everyone to get saved and then serve him in obedience. Satan wants us to disobey God and live for ourselves. Satan uses his spirits to bring about destruction. They promote the evil things that cause people to sin. Things like sex, drugs, and rock and roll, to name just a few. It all seems manmade, but there is a wicked Devil behind it. God on the other hand uses his word, because his word is truth and we can stand on it. God promotes good holy things through his word. The more people read and follow the word of God the better they act. The more they follow the Devil's temptations, the worse they act. The Devil is very out front with his actions. He is in your face 24/7. He controls the constant flow of media/entertainment that enters our brains. Most Christians choose to shut it off. The lost man gets bombarded everyday by it. I feel that because of man's wicked desires and walking away form God, that the Devil is winning the battle. He is every where around us and people love it. America, used to be a Christian nation, but now it is by name only. These people couldn't care less about God. The battle has turned in Satan's favor.

I did say earlier that the spirit world can be experienced through drugs. Saved and lost can step into a different world with hard psychedelic drugs like DMT, ayahuasca, LSD, and other hallucinogens. The dosage must be right, and if it is, a new world is opened to these people. Some experience a nightmarish reality of demons trying to kill them. They are described as horrifying creatures that are terrifying to look at. Unsaved people always describe these creatures as demons. Some of these people are even atheists, who call these creatures demons. That is a strange word for an atheist to use. The other interaction people have is with little gray aliens with big black eyes. Large groups of people all on strong hallucinogens describe interacting with these things at the same time. It is a shared experience. This is not a hallucination, but an actual experience. These drugs open peoples vision to the spiritual realm. These gray aliens are actually demons deceiving people. If you want more information on these experiences look up Joe Rogan on YouTube. He goes in depth on what he has personally seen. This demon realm is very real and is around us at all times. These wicked creatures want to take everyone to hell with them. They hate that human beings have the chance to go to heaven and they do not. They will do anything to get people to reject Jesus Christ and wind up in hell. If Satan and his demons have to go to hell then they want everyone to go as well. Misery loves company.

Do not be deceived the Devil seeks whomever he can destroy. Understand that the matrix is real and it is a gateway to hell. Everyday people wake up from the matrix in hell and they will never get out. The world we live in is like a dream and eternity is reality. In ten billion years, people burning in the lake of fire will not believe this world was real or any of these pleasurable things were possible. In eternity, 10 billion years is like the blink of an eye., because eternity never ends. It will be the only reality they ever know and it will be very real. Now you can either spend eternity in torment or in bliss in paradise. Ultimately it is up to you. Will you fall for Satan's trap or put your faith in Jesus Christ?

To get saved all you have to do, is admit that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ died for your sins. The only way to take away sins is with the pure shed blood of Jesus Christ. Good works can not take away sins. If they could, then Jesus Christ died in vain. Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead as payment for all sins. Once you believe that, you are saved forever. You did nothing to earn it and you can do nothing to lose it.

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
