Giants of the Faith

About a year ago I started watching Independent Fundamental Baptist preachers on YouTube. I knew better, but I was desperate to hear preaching. It is hard to find true gospel preachers out there. I say that I knew better, because in the past I had heard them give a false gospel. I was so desperate for preaching I convinced myself that these were men of God. The sermons were always positive and very Christian. They would preach against the wickedness of this world. Everything was great until they gave the gospel. It was always a changed life, if you don't have a changed life, then you are not saved. That is heresy! In this article I will expose the Independent Fundamental Baptist preachers for who they are.
Now, don't get me wrong, there are good men in Independent Fundamental Baptist movement, but the majority are false preachers. These men are often wolves in sheep's clothing. They come off very polished and put together. They know the scriptures and some have extensive theological schooling. The man pictured above is Dr. Phil Kidd. He is a classic hot headed Baptist preacher, who constantly screams. Screaming is common amongst these charlatans. When I first found Dr. Kidd, he seemed like a sound preacher, that would not last. I notice from one video to the next, that he had a hair transplant. Next I notice he wore expensive looking suits. Then I read an article he wrote where he mentioned his luxury SUV and his Monte Blanc pen. None of these things are evil, but they didn't sit well with me. Maybe an obsession with money and vanity? I knew there was something off. That was the Holy Spirit guiding me to all truth. I heard a sermon of his, where he said, if you don't have a changed life, then you are not saved. This was not right at all. I was developing skepticism about these men. I say these men, because they all seemed tied together. A few I also watched were Charles Lawson, Peter Ruckman, Lester Roloff, and others. Charles Lawson preached against free grace and called it some pie in the sky belief. He also preached a changed life. Lester Roloff was another one who preached a changed life, the same with Peter Ruckman. The majority of these men all preach the same false Gospel. I also watched Danny Castle all the time and he raised alarms for me too. I never heard him give the gospel in over 100 sermons I watched. He said that people need to clean up their lives to go to church. The last sermon I watched of his, was about salvation. At the end he did an altar call and never gave the gospel. He instead asked the congregation to "pray for these people". That was enough for me to stop watching him. He seemed like a good man of God and maybe he is saved, but I have my doubts.
You maybe thinking, those are just a few bad eggs. No, the majority follow this program. The big name preachers are all traveling evangelists. That is how they have become so well known. Most of them charge exorbitant rates for their preaching engagements. They also expect to be treated like royalty. They are treated like movie stars. I even got swept up in some of this, because they always talk about each other like gods. They constantly promote each other, got to keep the coffer ringing. I remember Peter Ruckman preaching how he was flown first class, stayed at a penthouse suite, had his meals paid for, and was treated like a king, all for preaching some sermons. These men are not humble servants, they are wolves fleecing the flock. There is a YouTube channel called Fundamental Baptist Sermons. Pretty much everyone on there, mark and avoid. They almost all preach a false gospel. Many call the Independent Fundamental Baptists a cult, and I agree. It seems like a brotherhood, where they groom each other to be clones of one another. They seem like they want to suck people in for life. Again mark and avoid these men.
You can usually identify Independent Fundamental Baptist preachers by there constant screaming. They always where a 3 peace suit (which I agree with). They have strong fundamental values, but believe a false gospel. At the end of the day, these men are filled with pride. They lift themselves up with their own righteousness. Do not be fooled, stay away from these men!
I hope you enjoyed this article. If you are not a Christian, I invite you to get saved now. Tomorrow may be to late. To get saved all you have to do, is admit that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ died for your sins. The only way to take away sins is with the pure shed blood of Jesus Christ. Good works can not take away sins. If they could, then Jesus Christ died in vain. Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead as payment for all sins. Once you believe that, you are saved forever. You did nothing to earn it and you can do nothing to lose it.
I Corinthians 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
John 3
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Titus 3
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
