God Haters

There is a spirit in this world that very much hates God. It is an antichrist spirit that in dwells people. In recent years this spirit has grown strong in society. Some people will go to church and claim a religious sect., yet they will deny the saving power of Jesus Christ. The bible calls these people hypocrites. On the other end of the spectrum their are God hating atheist who want nothing to do with Jesus Christ at all. These people are open about their hatred of God and make no apologies for it. Society has come to fully embrace the idea of hating God. Even I find myself hating God when things don't go my way. This is a temporary hatred that I always feel bad about. Weather permanent or temporary, hating God is inexcusable.

Their is a hostility toward the word of God in our culture. People don't want to hear it. Many people are bothered by the idea of Jesus Christ. They don't want to be bothered. Many look at Jesus Christ as a joke, the idea of him is something to laugh at. He is an easy target. In his life he was a meek servant. This is an easy character trait to take advantage of. Nothing about Jesus is sexy or dangerous, he isn't very cool. Young people especially seem put off by Jesus Christ and what he stands for. When I was young, I didn't want anyone on anything standing in my way. All I wanted from God was to help me get what I wanted. The unsaved person completely relies on themselves, for the most part, and has no need of God. God can stand in their way and ruin their fun. God to many people is a road block to their life and they are completely opposed to him. They are in love with this world, and want to get the most out of it that they can. I think many people in the back of their mind know that God is real, but they don't want him messing up their lives. Once a person is saved, God has a plan for their life, and if they disobey, he will have correct them. This is why it is so important to reach people when they are young with the world of God. Young people live under their parents authority and are use to submitting to that. Once a person reaches a certain age, they become rebellious and don't want anyone telling them what to do. People hate the idea of authority, they want to do what they want to do. These same people will cry about the government not taking better care of them, which is kind of funny. What God stands for is the exact opposite of what the world stands for. The world is all about money, prestige, popularity, gossiping, fornication, partying, etc.. The things of God are as follows:

Galatians 5

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The things of the world however are in direct opposition to this.

II Timothy 3

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Doesn't this sound like the world we live in today? People get caught up in this way of life and they do not want religion getting in the way. God is seen as a big hindrance and they hate him for it.

If a person rejects Jesus Christ, from my own experience will have a pretty good life. Things will work out for them, they will have plenty of success and wins. This comes from Gods mercy, he knows this is the only heaven they will ever know. God is so good that he let's them have what they want. The down side is, these people will go to hell and stand in front of God as his enemy on judgement day. God will have no mercy on them at that time. The God hater makes a serious gamble with their life. Do they ever think, "what if I'm wrong"? It is the most high risk venture a person can do.

Do not be a God hater. If you give God a chance he can give you your best life possible both here and in eternity. Your life here will not always be perfect, but if you live for his will, in time he will bless you. There are rare occasions where a person has to live in miserable circumstances, but that is rare. God is good and he can take care of you, if you let him.

Psalms 119:68- Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

To get saved all you have to do, is admit that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ died for your sins. The only way to take away sins is with the pure shed blood of Jesus Christ. Good works can not take away sins. If they could, then Jesus Christ died in vain. Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead as payment for all sins. Once you believe that, you are saved forever. You did nothing to earn it and you can do nothing to lose it.

John 3

Romans 5

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
